“After a recent hailstorm we selected Joe and Penney Construction to repair our roof. Joe was referred to us by a friend and we are certainly glad he did. Joe went above and beyond what I ever expected from a contractor.

After reviewing the initial insurance claim from our provider, he realized they had left out some critical repairs to make sure our house followed city code. He not only noticed this error but worked with our insurance provider to get it corrected.

Joe was extremely busy as would be expected because of the hailstorm but he never failed to either take our call or return it within the hour.

We have a large 2 story house and they completed the work quicker than expected. The completed roof looks great and we have not had any issues since the work was performed.

After the roof was replaced we couldn’t even tell they had been there. In the past when we had a roof replaced, there was always trash, damaged bushes or something else, but not with Penney Construction. Absolutely no issues during or after the work was completed.

A lot of companies will try to price gouge you after a storm but they did not and the prices were fair for services rendered. I would have zero hesitation using Penney Construction again and have and will continue recommending.

Shortly after the work was completed on our house, the shingle manufacturer issued a recall on a batch of shingles. Luckily, our shingles were not part of the recall but my mother’s house was not so lucky. Joe completely handled this recall and replaced her roof a second time (at no cost to her). This type of customer service is so rare and unexpected.

To rate Joe and Penney Construction as a 5-star company is a little unfair because they deserve so much more."

He coordinated lots of the details, including plumbing, electricians, duct work, and finish work. He also suggested the kitchen cabinet makers, who we ended up using, and it saved us a huge amount of money. We couldn’t be happier with the look and quality—fantastic results.

We were actually very impressed with how much care they took in cleaning up. In fact, the day after all the work was completed, Joe and his wife, Stephi, showed up with all their cleaning supplies and rubber gloves ready to help me move back into the kitchen. Very thoughtful and appreciated.

“My roof replacement needed to fit into a specific window of time, before the painting company was scheduled to arrive. He was able to work within that window of time and get everything accomplished.

The workers arrived right as scheduled and the job was completed right on time. Joe kept in touch with me throughout the process to make sure everything was going as expected.

There was a very limited area to throw shingles after removing them from my high pitched roof. They went above and beyond being careful with where shingles landed. Clean up was spot on!

Joe was willing to meet and work with our insurance claims adjuster to answer questions and find solutions. His pricing was right in line with our insurance claim and he provided all the documentation necessary to satisfy their needs.
